Christmas day this year for me was surprisingly boring. It felt like just any other day, nothing special(that's why it sucks). Chamie and I were supposed to go to church on Christmas eve but due to her unexpected "go-back-home" call, it was cancelled. We moved that idea to early Christmas morning but still, it didn't happen. I woke up late so I didn't catch up with the mass on tv. I spent the rest of my waking hour researching about Rinoa Heartilly, Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockheart, Yuna, and Tidus, constantly scavenging their pics too then ate lunch. Kuya Raffy(my cousin), Tita Angie(his wife) and (their son)Simon came over. Together with Francis, we went to SM to get our pics taken for my mom. Coincidently, Aica and Andrew were around so we strolled together. We ate dinner at Pizza Hut then went home. See what I mean?
But whatever. The thing is I'm with my loved ones (though incomplete). I'm so grateful that I'm still alive and I met these wonderful people. They give me the strength to go on each day. *sigh* We should appreciate these lil things in life, ya know?
Well, gotta sleep now. I've got a whole day of work ahead of me today. We're going to the new apartment to clean up so that tomorrow, moving and settling will be a breeze. Wish me luck and hope I don't fall off. Just kidding. But I certainly hope my cough will be completely gone by the time I exhaust myself...

This year's Christmas party was the best I swear! We had so much fun. More people came than last year. It was more organized and people actually contributed. Bagamat may mga pasaway din, slight lang kaya ayun maayos talaga. ^^
The Christmas party was divided into two parts: 4th year students' party with teachers and own-section party. The 4th year party started out late at IV- Silver room. Most of the students are from our section, IV- Gold. Few teachers were present. The 4th year students' party was more like a contest program. There were 4 entries on the dance contest, which was divided into two: group and solo performance, and then the Bebot contest. There were 3 entries on solo singing contest. Our teachers were the judges: Sr. Yolangco, Miss Primero, and Miss Orsal.
The dance contest came first. Me, Andrew, Joel, Rose and Kit were supposed to join Aica, Rey, and Paul but we all had our own reasons why we backed out. (Mine was coz I only got to learn the steps up to the first chorus. I'm not much of a dancer so I didn't have the confidence to get the whole thing though I admit it was fairly easy.) Surprisingly, Jayson and Tata learned the steps the day before and had the guts to perform. They picked a number and amusingly, they were the first to go. They danced Average Joe from the Mark Herras cd album. (I love that song!) When they were dancing I feel like I'm with them. The crowd cheered all the way. After the dance, the judges gave positive remarks and the scores they gave were high enough.
Mervic and Raymond followed with their solo performance and lastly, Jonard's group. Raymond won the solo and Rey's group won the group competition. (Chamie recorded it on cam!) Congrats guys! You were great! Their steps became like the "dance of IV- Gold". My classmates got addicted to it. They joined in the dancing during our Christmas party.
Ayi, Jayson, and Michael (he's from the other section) were the contestants for the Bebot. I think the concept of the contest was.. For a guy to turn into a girl.. Or something. They look really funny pretending in their outfits. Ayi was wearing a gown, Jayson was wearing this um.. I don't know how to describe it.. A string-backed yellow top with matching wrap-around skirt. Michael was wearing a red halter-top and denim mini-skirt. It was so amusing seeing them like that.
Congrats to Yvonne for winning 1st place on the singing contest and also to Vincent and Racquel. You guys did great. ^__^
The own-section party was fun too. We ate first then started the parlor games. Ate Divine ended the celebration with an on-the-spot-speech of some sort. Very cute Ate.
Somehow, some way, my classmates will think of some wacky finale just for the heck of it. I forgot who thought of the idea to wet people inside. Okay, it was fun but think of what happens afterwards. Yeah, the organizers of the party will clean up the mess. You could say it was a splashing success of a mess.
Aica, Andrew, Rey, Paul, Erick, Christopher, Roselle, Dianne, and me went to Aica's and hanged-out at the playground. (I got to sit on the swing again!) We talked about planning a Valentines party and fund raising then we played touch-body-out with rolled-up newspaper balls. We were like children. Too bad Francis didn't get to be with us. Get well soon, Franz. We miss you.

I woke up like around 4:30am to write my speech and 2 poems for English. I went to Central first to submit my poem, meet up with Roselle and collect fund from our section. We ate at the canteen before we went to Main. We got busy there for a while. *sigh* It was a good thing before noon, our schedule became vacant so we relaxed, ate at Guten then went to Central to just hang-out before the program at Main started.
The Induction went well, my read my speech a bit faster than I had planned, and the teachers joined the fun and performed their dance. We all cheered and basically enjoyed it. I think Teacher's Day today was better than last year, students were more behaved and quiet. Thankfully, there were no problems or commotions that occurred, not like I'm expecting something bad is going to happen. Oh yeah, by the way, is it true that if you dreamed that you lose a tooth/ teeth, a relative of yours will die? Coz that's what I dreamed. My grandmother's sister's husband died recently-- but that was waaay before I had that weird dream. Ok, now I'm starting to get nervous. But that is silly! I mean, I shouldn't believe in those sayings. People just make it up. *sigh*
We went back to Central after the program. Kit and the others were doing the party decorations which turned out well. It was getting late in the afternoon when the CAT guys played baseball outside and Rey and the others rehearsed for the dance contest. When it got kinda dark outside and rain started to pour, I got bored and decided to go home. It was a good thing though coz the gate's being locked! I hurried to the man locking and asked for a few more minutes. I ran back to the classroom and informed everyone. Such a hero haha. And to think-- if I didn't get bored and decided to go home then we all won't be going home that night.

I had a very tiring day but it was so much fun though. Tomorrow is the Induction of SSG officers (Supreme Student Government) and at the same time, Teacher's Day! Since I am the 4th year Senator, refusal to participate is not an option. Haydee, Roselle, Ruchel, Chunnyfer, and me collected voluntary contribution to every 4th year section (except ours, which we'll do tomorrow) and got so little amount. Yeah, it sucks.
After that, we had to go to Main (we practically walked there in the windy yet sunny climate) where we also collected voluntary contribution to all sections with students present. The money was used to buy teachers gifts so technically, it's like all students chipped in and bought their teachers presents. We were just in charged with the program. After we were through, we walked to Aica's house to eat lunch.
We went back to Main around past 1:00pm for a meeting with the CAT officers. Sir Banaag and Sir Ibasco were there to advise/assist us. We talked about tomorrow's program, who will do this and who is assigned for that. You know, that stuff. Ate Divine, Ruchel and the rest went to Salinas after the meeting to buy the gifts while me and Roselle took our time in the computer room typing the program. Ok, well actually, I typed the program. She played solitaire. ^^'
Roselle and me went back to Aica's to get our stuff. Contrary to what was planned, we hanged-out there for a while. Paul and me played badminton. When I saw the swing, I couldn't resist it. I love swings! I stayed there for a while to rest, enjoying Rey's cd playing.
At 5:00pm I decided to go home to take a bath and then go back because Ate Divine said that they're going to wrap the gift at Aica's. When I got home, I received a call from Aica. She told me Ruchel said he'll do that so there's no need for me to go back just to help them. I decided to still go anyway. I mean, I feel like hanging-out with them and besides, there's nothing much to do here.
I got back around past 6. Andrew, Aica and Paul persuaded me to dance with them at our Christmas party. (Rey was supposed to come but since there's an emergency at home, he couldn't.) They taught me some dance moves and it was fun.
Allen, Jaz, Jen and Christian came over just as we were taking a break from rehearsing and waiting for Roselle's arrival. They said they were supposed to go around and sing carols but since they're few, hindi na lang daw.
For dinner, Paul, Roselle and me went to McDo. While eating, we talked about injections, how we don't like talking about blood while eating, and dextrose. Weird huh? We saw Vina with her cousin just as we were done eating. We also saw Verlyn with her cousin when we were about to leave. Outside, Paul and Roselle bought balot to eat. I was eating a sundae cone and carrying a McFlurry for Aica just as she requested.
Andrew was still there. He and Aica were listening to Roselle's cd compilation. We hanged-out for a while. It's nearly 10:00pm when I decided to go home. On the way, the bus' radio played Never Had A Dream Come True and I Believe- two of my favorite songs. It made me think about him again...
Waaahh it's 11:00pm already and I'm too lazy to write the short message (speech) for tomorrow! But I'm so very tired and sleepy na... (-_-)

It's funny how I got so interested in blogging nowadays. A few days ago, I was thinking of getting photoshop pro to enhance my computer art learning experience. Then a sudden flashback made me smile. Years ago when I went to America I have limited knowledge of computers, let alone the internet. I was at school and my classmates and I are researching about William Shakespeare through the net. I was asking my teacher something (I can't really remember what it was) and since I was kinda confused, I couldn't explain it to her well. She got a bit confused too but I was "saved by the bell" (gosh, I miss that show so much!). Confusion about something to do with internet happened again in my friend Lindsey's house when we were doing research paper on renaissance. It's cool to think that before I was such a "loser" with not much experience on the net and now I'm learning how to do a webpage! I'm getting addicted to this.
I feel like I haven't been online for the longest time! I'm trying to be thrifty, you know, with the holidays coming and I have friends who have their birthdays this month. For now, this internet card will do.
Well, expect more updates later here. Bye-bye for now!
